The girls weightlifting team finished the regular season undefeated after their 73-13 victory over Jones. The girls have outscored their opponents 377-64 this season. The Panthers won all 10 weight classes once again. Ty Smith led the charge with a school record 240 lb bench press in the UNL class. Destinee Alford had a school record 170 lb CJ in the 199 class. Jada St. Cyr had a 355 total to win the 183 class while her sister posted a 315 total to win the 139 class. Ni’Kira Smith had a 140 lb bench and 135 CJ to win the 154 class and Armelle Oliantus had a 305 total to win the 169 class. The girls now turn their attention to the postseason which begins with the Metro Championship on January 17th at Evans High School.
